Naver, Korea's largest search portal, plans to build a new Naver Cloud data center in preparation for the ever-increasing IT infrastructure and changes in future society. The ‘Naver Cloud Data Center Design Contest’ was conducted to select a creative design that could understand and express the identity of a global ICT company.

The new data center will provide computing power to reliably store and analyze this data as various devices are connected to each other and massive amounts of data are generated. In addition, we apply a variety of new technologies that can be integrated and operated from architecture to electrical and mechanical facilities and IT infrastructure so that the IT infrastructure that stores large amounts of data can operate stably without interruption 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, resulting in high energy efficiency and sustainable growth. We want to build an eco-friendly data center where this is possible. In addition, as a technology platform, various technologies such as AI, self-driving cars, and robots will be researched and applied to pursue change and innovation, and the data center will provide a foundation for various users and partners to grow together.
